A Day of Too Many Calamities

"We belong to God and to Him we shall return." It is a
terrible Wednesday of too many calamities. May God help us. We mourn
not the destroyed Golden Dome and ancient shrine of our Imams in Samarra, Iraq,
but we cry with
broken hearts for the disturbance to the peace of Lady Narjis Khatoun, Imam Hassan
al-Aaskari, Imam Ali al-Hadi, and Lady Hakimah Khatoun, Peace be upon them.
We mourn disturbing the mother, father, grand father, and aunt of the Twelfth
Imam, al-Mahdi, Peace be upon him. It is a day of darkness like which the
Shia have not seen since the murder of the Eleventh Imam, more than a thousand
years ago.
